I got there 15 minutes before they closed but couldn't locate the facility inside the Marriott so was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes until I eventually found it and the guy was just sitting there.. not doing anything. I understand that you're almost off work, but I need a car.

My Wallet Was Stolen!!! They get zero for their customer service ethics! My wallet was stolen at the Hetz location in Oakbrook,Il. I have proofs, police report after their employee was pulled over for a “traffic” violation. My wallet was in the Hertz employee personal car, the cops reached out to me. Money was stolen and most valuable my trust. I rent a car every two weeks! What a shame!!

Hertz needs to get their act together at this location. I was on my way to pick up the car (being only 5 min away) when I received a phone call saying that they had no available cars. Maybe they will have one in a couple of hours. That did not sound reassuring, so I ended up driving my own car to where I had to go on business (my schedule wasn't flexible enough to wait maybe a couple of hours for a car that might or might not be available). There hardly was an apology from the young lady who called me. Previously, the agent with whom I had to deal with in person was very unfriendly and abrupt. I am willing to give them another try at the end of June. It'd better be a perfect experience.
